"Collection and Validation of data in Maritime medicine"
Dear colleagues ,
During the workshop of Barcelone, it was agreed to form an international working group with the support of IMHA (International Maritime Health Association), EMA (European Medical Association) and some Universities. The objectives will be to collect informations for a database as background (at an international, European and natioanl level), to evaluate different existing maritime medicine education programmes and to define criteria and minimum standards of competence with a set of international recommendations.
This meeting, prepared by UBO (University of Occidental Brittany) and SFMM (French Society of Maritime Medicine), will be a definition of the contents and function of this international database in maritime medicine.
